Primal Panic

📖 THE STORY:

I met my ex-wife when we were teenagers, fresh-faced college kids with only good things ahead of us.

We got married young and almost immediately I felt like something was… off.

When I asked her about it, I was told that I was imagining things and that I shouldn’t need so much reassurance.

*cough* gaslighting *cough*

Y’all this went on for YEARS…

So I don’t know why I was so shocked when she cheated on me, but I’ll tell you what: I LOVED this woman with every fiber of my being and I could not see a life without her.

Yet I had to solider on and put myself back together.

It took a lot of time, but I began to heal, and this song is a part of that.
