Mentioned several times in the Bible, it’s a beautiful stone, and when cut and carved properly, it makes incredible bowls, vases, and boxes. In the Valley the Kings in Egypt, where huge amounts are found, look at this alabaster vase in the picture when you put a light or candle inside.

Incredible! Everyday in Ethiopia, these women carry fuel wood for nearly 15 miles up steep mountain roads. Thousands of these women have taken to this task and that’s the life they know. Help us reach them with the Gospel.
