Christmas Village Ornaments

These ornaments are inspired by ceramic Christmas villages, gingerbread houses, and old Christmas movies. My hope is that these ornaments bring you a sense of nostalgia for winter and Christmas time!

Ornaments are hand painted, made to order. They are heirloom quality ceramic ornaments, painted and sealed to protect the ornament from smudging or bleeding. Please handle with care! They come with a cotton ribbon for hanging on your Christmas tree. These are the kind of ornaments that become family heirlooms!

The mini oil landscape collection was a set of six oil paintings on 4x4” panels that I completed over 3 years ago. It was my attempt at a medium that had intimidated me for years. Watercolor is my comfort zone, but I realize that it’s important to reach outside your comfort zone to grow. So I picked up a set of water-soluable oil paints (less intimidating clean up) and gave it a shot! And guess what? It wasn’t as scary as I thought! In fact I quite enjoyed it. Now watercolor is still my favored medium, but I won’t hesitate quite as much to try a new medium in the future.

All that to say, I am retiring this collection of paintings. Three paintings are still available to purchase. I love them for what they taught me but I don’t think they reflect my current portfolio of work anymore. I will continue to sell the sticker version of the paintings (until they sell out), but any originals that don’t sell by the end of October will be taken off my website and enter my personal collection or donated. And for every painting sold, you will receive the sticker version too!
