So if you have had me out to your place you know I much prefer Schlage over Kwikset, especially if we are comparing the “smartkey” technology and up until today I have always had the customer switch. Worked on a home this morning that had locks everywhere and they were all smartkey. Due to that we both agreed to keep that system in place. I changed the exterior doors out with traditional the customer gave me the old hardware. Now I am taking the opportunity to deep dive In the platform and learn as much as possible! This is what the internals look like on the smartkey platform for those who care!
