I thought that some of you out there would get a kick out of this. The Printrbot was pretty revolutionary in 2012 when I got interested in 3D printing as it was one of the most affordable kits and came with everything you needed to build it!

This is what it looked like:
This printer costs the same as our brand new Folger Tech FT-5 which is leaps and bounds ahead of the Printrbot Crazy how far hobbiest printers have come in just 5 years!
