On Wednesday, campers began creating our shoutout wall. Similar to our “I rock” wall, campers wrote down shoutouts to other people at camp. Throughout the week the shoutout wall grows larger and larger as campers write more. At the end of the week, the shoutouts are collected and distributed to each camper for them to keep. These shoutouts are always a special part of camp that our campers look forward to every year!

Day 4 of WeR!C camp 2026!
Today was another busy day that began with practicing our camp theme song to prepare for the end of camp extravaganza on Sunday. Campers continued to learn and practice playing their instruments in instrument instruction and worked on completing their songs in band practice. Today’s workshops included zine making with This Girls Story, button making, improvisation, fashion, and learning about vocals. Very excitingly, today was band photo day! Our campers who took the Glitter Guts photography workshop on Tuesday got to take band pictures for their fellow campers. We saw lots of rad poses and shots that will be shared soon! Our campers ended their day by rocking out to a performance from the amazing band Steeplechase!
Only one more full day of camp before we go to recording and then our end of camp showcase!

Day 3 of WeR!C camp 2026!
Our campers started their mornings with part 2 of the identity workshops and their instrument lessons. In the afternoon we had a handful of different workshops including drag with Julez Osco, gear safety, band merch creation, and learning about guitar pedals! Campers continued to work on their songs in band practice and are making great progress! Our day ended with a fabulous performance from Julez Osco and a lip syncing battle with our campers.
Today was a busy and exciting day, we’re looking forward to tomorrow!

Day 2 of WeR!C camp 2026!
Our campers started their day with identity workshops and instrument instruction. The afternoon consisted of band practice and multiple different workshops where our campers learned about letterpress printing from Starshaped Press, photography from Glitter Guts, soldering quarter inch cables with Shure, claymation music videos, and gear safety. The day ended with a lively round of bingo!
Day 2 was excellent, time to rest up for tomorrow!
