A young kid from Philly with a ball and a dream inspired a generation of athletes, including myself. That’s not to be taken lightly. You never knew who I was, but you taught me to do everything with passion and grit. I will never forget about the grace in which you carried yourself on and off the floor and the undeniable work ethic you showcased throughout your decorated career. For the world to have to hear about the passing of you, your daughter and others on onboard is heartbreaking. I pray for strength, comfort and wisdom among us all. The young kids past and present will always remember and cherish the mamba mentality. Godspeed, Kobe Bryant. 💔💔
