This is a live mix from my weekly Friday residency as the resident DJ, Dannyboy, and the Nor DJs. As a DJ, I used Traktor and was the resident DJ at Sound Bar for over five years. My set time was from 145 AM to 4 AM every Friday. This live mix showcases my authentic DJing style, before the DJs and the sync button were used. It’s one of the best mixes I still have copies of. After 25 minutes, it hits really hard, and the blends are flawless. As a DJ, I edited songs on the fly using FX software and controllers. Listen to how the builds of the songs have added FX to create a better and more intense build-up. This music style was what Dannyboy was known for—a blend of electro and tech house. I was the resident DJ at Crobar, Spybar, Vision, Buzz, and Moda, just to name a few, and performed six days a week. I even traveled to Miami every Saturday to perform at Crobar on South Beach.
