Our last wedding for 2023, and possibly our last wedding, altogether. Such a lush forest setting and a real fun celebration.

It’s difficult to put a pause on this thing that brings us so much happiness and self fulfillment, but these are uncertain times for us (both of us have cancer? Yep, sure do), and we can’t guarantee great results right now. It’s hard, but necessary.

We’ve never hustled with these nearly two decades of professional photography - just let word of mouth bring beautiful, kind folk downstream to us. It’s been a gift, a real pleasure, and we’ve loved finding you all and showing the world your true selves.

Heart hurts, but there’s great satisfaction in it, too.

Let me say that I’ve never, EVER, experienced a crowd response to ANYTHING as I did at last Sunday’s . The crowd went fu***ng bananas over the models, designers, dancers, and singers. Seeing themselves represented up on stage is heady and validating, and the entire vibe of Knockout is a big acknowledgement of an underrepresented demographic. Beautiful people everywhere, vibrant community building, zero shame or judgement. has built a pop up city of love and I know this event will overflow into everyone’s lives as it continues to flourish. So much talent and beauty and diversity and drive and furious self acceptance cannot be contained.
