Ms. Kotik is the great -granddaughter of T. G. Masaryk, the first president of Czechoslovakia (1918-1937) and his Brooklyn-born wife Charlotta Garrigue. Her presentation will illuminate the role of humanities in her family sharing roots in both European and American cultural traditions.
