Alderman Matt Martin - 47th Ward

Last week, I had an opportunity to visit students at Lake View, Amundsen, and Bell Elementary, rounding out the week at Bell's Fine Arts Night.

It was a blast seeing arts teachers marching through the hallways in a meticulously crafted coyote costume while nearby students played the saxophone, trombone, and drums.

The 47th Ward Youth Council is collecting donations for public health essentials until April 20th. Items accepted include:

✅️ Diapers, baby wipes, unopened formula
✅️ Toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant
✅️ Towels (new and gently used)
✅️ Feminine hygiene products
✅️ and more!

You can drop off donations at our office (4243 N Lincoln), Chase Park, or Welles Park!
