127. Push Off (20x30 oil on wood panel) This one took a while because it’s bigger than usual for me but the colors of the skin, water and neon swim shorts were a lot of fun. The play between calm water and chaotic bubbles was also interesting to figure out.

124. Swim Lessons (oil on panel 12x12) I’m still on my water kick. I am so happy when I’m in water and painting water is about the same. Next up…more water?

A new swimmer emerges from the pink under painting. (I like to tint the board before painting, it shows through in tiny spots and brings the whole thing together)
