Our Founder & Executive Director Benny Henry and Board Chair Michelle Wright shared our mission—and highlighted our It Takes a Village and 1000 Businesses for Peace campaigns, both focused on keeping Chicago youth safe, supported, and on a path to leadership and opportunity.
We’re grateful for the platform and proud to keep building safer, stronger communities—together. 💪🏽💙
After-school programs cut violent incidents by 48%, and up to 90% of students avoid violence entirely when they’re supported.
But right now, federal funding is slipping. And when the funding goes, so do the safe spaces our kids depend on.
