Appreciation post for the woman who raised me. If you really know me, you know I'm a grandma's boy & these last 6+ months have been rough for me. My grandmother broke her ankle back in December, a month or so after having breast cancer surgery.

She felt alone and defeated for a while facing her injuries, but I did my best to be available for her every week to help nurse her back to health as best I could. Oftentimes, our elders need more encouragement to keep pushing forward and know they aren't forgotten. So seeing her back up and mobile is a great accomplishment for the both of us. She also just completed her last radiation treatment this past week 🙏🏾

I would do anything for this woman and hope you feel the same about the mothers in your life 🖤
