After listening to my solo guitar recording of this song years ago when I contacted him for mechanical rights, Mason Williams graciously wrote me his personal compliments of "well played" and "being true to the composition.”

A young Kenny Rogers in 1968, before massive fame 10 years later. A song from "The Big Lebowski" but live without the Leslie FX on vocals. Great band of musicians, and Kenny? Wow! That guy could sing spot-on perfectly live - while playing bass - and no earbud monitors or live pitch-correct of course. Crazy.

Michael Jackson grabbed Beatles Publishing behind Paul McCartney's back. Attached video shows Sir Pauls' interviews.,,

While Michael Jackson was extremely talented,... but he swept away the song publishing of The Beatles catalog from behind Paul McCartney's back years ago tight when Paul had planned to buy it back.

1) Paul and MJ meet and write "Say Say Say." Paul suggests to MJ that he consider getting into music publishing.

2) The next week, MJ tells Paul that he's buying all of his and Lennon's Beatles songs. Paul assumes MJ is joking - for what fellow music artist would be so underhanded to their face?

3) MJ gets hella rich from "Thriller." He then buys all of The Beatles publishing for 50 million. Paul McCartney learns of this from a phone call from a friend, not from MJ. Paul had been planning on purchasing back HIS OWN SONGS for 20 million and MJ outbid him behind his back. I believe they never spoke after that.

4) As Paul and John both never agreed to the practice and wished that their songs remain on their own without commercialism of sell-out, MJ then sells Beatles music to Nike and others for national commercial spots - and The Beatles earn $ 0 .
