The Nail Salon I work at is in serious need of more manicurists. Before Covid,we were appointment only and booked out pretty much solid, for weeks out. We are very fortunate to have the clients that we have. However, due to the current circumstances many of our girls have been unable to return to work because of the online schooling and child care. We are busier than ever because many salons have sadly closed, and when we were working outside we had tons of people try to walk in for appointments who didn’t know about our salon until they saw us from the street. I have worked at Y2 Nail Bar with Jing for a year or so and I still feel incredibly lucky to be a part of her salon, and have her as a friend. We are turning away clients every day because we are fully booked and understaffed. Please spread the word if you happen to know a manicurist who has recently lost their job, or is maybe just looking for a new salon.
