The AMA opposes the Graham-Cassidy bill to repeal key aspects of the Affordable Care Act because it would jeopardize patient protections, undermine insurance coverage, cut Medicaid and cause millions of patients to lose coverage. Here's the AMA's letter opposed to it. Please take a moment to call your senators and express your opposition to this bill that would be catastrophic for millions of Americans!

Happy Women in Medicine Day! Today we're thinking about Georgetown's own Sarah Stewart, who was instrumental in discovering the cancer-causing polyoma viruses.
