RakSINGER Julie Rankin has been digging deep in our long working togetherness, & allowing wondrous SELF-REVELATIONS to illumine her vocal path: "Hi, Sheryl~ Did my hypnotherapy [again] with you last night, and today I had another epiphany… perhaps THE epiphany. I really thought I loved myself, even after reading Louise Hay once-through and working the chapters now. Yet, I realized that I'm not sure who I am without my voice… not sure what I can offer without it, not sure if I'm special without it…. and wonder if *** would still love me and want to hang around me without it. (Or anyone, for that matter.) I guess that day I emailed you talking about how my voice is everything [to me] really rang true… and at that point, I hadn't realized the impact of that statement inside of me. You did, as your reply indicated. I'm being a little dramatic because I certainly don't hate myself or anything like that…. I love myself to a degree for sure, but now it's time for unconditional love of myself.
So…. now that I am aware of this, it's time to dig deep and really get to know myself…. separate from my voice. Yes, my voice is a "pathway" ....emotions ring out through it, hopes, dreams, everything inside of me rings out. But perhaps it's not ME….. I know the Universe takes care of the hows, but I'm really a little floored by all of this… and have even wondered (I know, I know) how I'm going to get through this one. The realization of it all is the beginning of the healing, I know that much…. my hypnotherapy, singing, and reading is helping me to the right path. Stop the wondering and just feel good…. feel good. ..this experience has been really very moving and sometimes overwhelming. I know this is a life-changing experience for me…. kinda wish I'd had it 10 years ago, though!! :) :) But, it's the right time, the right place for it… everything is as it should be.
