Fly On The Water

Some flies never get old. Dave Whitlock’s Virtex Diver is one of them. Tied a few this week – generic Baitfish, Bluegill, and After Hours – and they went straight into my own box. Not everything I tie gets sold. Some patterns you just tie because they work and because the process itself is satisfying. The tail, the flash, the spinning & stacking, the trimming– this pattern is a joy to tie.

They should also help me land, some nicer bass in Alabama, wish me luck!
