As I mentioned on the phone, you were probably the best referral I received through this home buying process, and I would absolutely recommend you to anyone I know buying a home. Despite the time difference, I don't think there is even one time where you or your team did not respond to me in a prompt manner, and any time I had a question or something was not clear, I always received an email or a phone call clearing it up without a delay.

Given that this was our first home, everything was new to us, AND I'm a lawyer, so you know I read every single word of these contracts (!!), and how confusing it could have been, and at times was, your team's expertise in navigating through the documents and information was invaluable.

Special thanks to Monica who took my phone calls at all times, and made sure I got my s**t together and the documents in to you guys on a timely basis so you could process and run the documents through the underwriting process. She also knew the ins and outs of every single document and was able to "issue spot" before an issue came up with the underwriter, to make sure everything was smooth and efficient. Added plus, she made signing a document that we forgot to do before taking off on vacation SUPER easy - I think I was able to do it in 5 minutes while we waited for a cab on our way to brunch!

Anyway, glad we found you and I definitely owe Amit a drink for the referral!

What can I say? Simply phenomenal.

In the weeks prior to contacting Joe, I was working with two loan officers (Schwab/Quicken and another private loan broker). Both were very nice and meant well, but both could not abide by their initial commitments and pre-approvals and began changing things significantly very late in the game. I simply could not rely on their word - pretty bad for such a high stakes transaction. Aside from these, I had also earlier been in touch with one of my bank’s (Wells Fargo) loan officers but that was such a poor experience I’d rather not give it any further thought. Needless to say, all let me down or were letting me down, and I certainly could not proceed with any acceptable degree of confidence. It was like standing on shifting sand.

It’s with that backdrop that I contacted Joe on a good friend’s recommendation. I was bracing for another “... but can I trust what you’re saying though” experience. The rest is history. Boy did Joe deliver. He was personable and (politely) frank from the very beginning which I appreciated. He did not over promise. What he said he would do, he did. Blindingly efficient and attentive throughout the application, always keeping me informed on progress. The loan was sorted out thoroughly and efficiently, and I was very happy with the the rate and terms. Could not be more pleased with the experience. All that is good, but the thing I am most amazed by and grateful for is his ability, in a couple of conversations on that first day, to earn my confidence. Joe’s ability to convince someone like myself, who had a good deal of justifiable skepticism and essentially command my trust is a testament to his mastery of his trade.

Extremely happy with this entire experience. I find myself with the odd feeling of wanting more debt just to get more loans from Joe! Since that’s silly, I will do something more reasonable. I have already and will continue to steer people to Joe, not merely out of gratitude to him (though there is that), but because I like and care about my friends, I want them to have the same excellent experience as I did.
