Jaime and Ben first crossed paths in 2004, dated for three weeks, and then went their separate ways. Four years later, life brought them back together, and this time it was forever. They got married, dreamed of building a family, and after the heartbreak of multiple miscarriages, welcomed their daughter, who is now 10 years old.

In 2021, what Jaime thought was food poisoning turned out to be something far more serious. A CT scan revealed a tumor in her lung. Healthy, active, and without any symptoms, she never saw it coming. A biopsy confirmed a rare cancer diagnosis. She underwent surgery, followed by chemotherapy, and reached remission, but the cancer returned and spread to her bones. Today, she continues to fight with a strength that leaves everyone around her in awe.

After everything this family has walked through, they deserved a day that belonged entirely to their love.
