I received my copy of "PIER QUEEN" this week. It's content of Poetry touches my heart on so many levels. I see and hear myself in Emanuel Xavier's poetry. His work is amazing, poignant and honest. A blunt escape into a reality that is all to real for so many young gay latinos. This is a must read. I recommend this book of poetry to all the young gay latinos out there. In fact I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read into the heart and soul of Emanuel Xavier.
