May has been full of creativity, learning, and a little zebra-striped fun in our Larks classroom! 🌸🎨🦓

This month, our Larks proudly made it all the way to the letter Z! To celebrate, the children created zebra finger paintings, helping reinforce letter recognition in a fun, hands-on way. Finger painting is such a wonderful early childhood activity because it strengthens fine motor skills, encourages creativity, and supports sensory exploration while helping children connect letters with meaningful experiences.

The Larks also worked so hard on their Mother’s Day gifts, using clay to create heart-shaped jewelry holders and painting them with lots of love. These special projects help build hand strength, coordination, patience, and self-expression, while giving children the joy of making something meaningful for their families.

We are so proud of all their hard work, creativity, and growth this month! ❤️🦓🎨
