We're excited to highlight AECT member Dr. Amy Lomellini as an AECT Bridge Builder. 🌉
As Director of Accessibility at Blackboard and Chair of the AECT Accessibility Committee, Dr. Lomellini has dedicated her career to ensuring that learning technology works for everyone — not just some. Her work sits at the intersection of industry and advocacy, bringing real-world impact to the principles of inclusive design that our field holds dear.
Building bridges in educational technology means more than connecting ideas and disciplines — it means making sure no learner is left on the other side. Dr. Lomellini lives that belief every day, working to remove barriers and create equitable learning experiences at scale.
As we look ahead to AECT26 and our theme Building Bridges, we're proud to celebrate individuals like Dr. Lomellini who are advancing access, inclusion, and belonging in educational technology.
