Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks for winning the Super Bowl over the Patriots Sunday night. I am especially happy for Seahawks kicker Jason Myers for setting a Super Bowl record with five field goals and 17 points for the game. Myers was on the Watch List for the Fred Mitchell Award in 2012 out of tiny Marist University in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. After going undrafted, he is now the Seahawks franchise's all-time leader in field goals.
