Family photo shoots — they’re one of the most beautiful, but also one of the most challenging, especially with little ones aged 2–3 years.

That’s why I always remind parents to be prepared. Here are a few tips to make your session fun and stress-free:

• Let your child be a child. At this age, kids are full of energy. They can’t sit still or look at the camera on command — and that’s okay! Don’t force them to pose. Just relax, and I’ll capture the real, natural moments.
• Time matters. The best time for a session is in the morning, after your child has slept well, eaten, and is in a good mood.
• Plan some favorite activities. Bring what your kids love — books, games, crayons, or even a small kitchen setup if they like cooking. Activities help everyone feel more comfortable and make the photos look real and joyful.

The goal isn’t perfect poses — it’s real connection, real joy, real memories.
