Did you know you can eat some of your weeds. Here is a pesto recipe that uses Lamb's Quarters.
Late June Produce in Season: Apples, Asparagus, Beans, Berries , Cabbage, Carrots , Cherries , Eggplant, Garlic, Horseradish, Leeks, Lettuce, Melons, Nectarines, Okra , Onions , Peaches, Peas, Plums, Potatoes, Radishes, Rhubarb, Spinach, Squash, Strawberries , Tomatoes, Turnips
A donation from Epic Gardening led to a wonderful collaboration between Stone Temple Church, and Contemporary Farmer, Inc. to install and fill a garden bed with 2 cubic yards of soil! Thanks to the seedling contribution from Avondale Gardening Alliance fresh produce will be available soon!
