Just showing off one of my favorite Holiday presents this year. I have been admiring these bags for so long and I can’t wait to take this baby out for a stroll. Thank you 💋

Seeing friends and loved ones is the best kind of self-care around! I had the most wonderful 2 days in NJ and PA with my very dear friends Angel and Donnie.

I go on antique treasure hunts to find these special vintage vessels for each one of my pieces. Each tin, jar and votive is hand selected and special. I often sit with each one for a time before I feel out which plant wants to be created specially for that piece.

And sometimes I come across a REALLY special or unique tin. I might create the imagined plant for it but these typically stay in my studio for a long time. They sit on my shelf in a prominent viewing position where I can enjoy them until I’m ready to find it a new home. Yes – I get attached to my own art.

This was one of those pieces. I found a series of these very unique Art Nouveau spice tins. A few of them have the design so faded you can hardly see it and I knew I needed to create something special and help this vintage tin find new life in someone’s home.
