Mimi In Real Estate

Hello everyone. It’s been a long time since I posted on this page, and I didn’t want to come back without giving a real update on where life has taken me these last couple of years.

When I first created this page, my goal was to study for the Real Estate exam and work toward becoming a broker. At the time, I thought the next step was to go straight into that role, but my path ended up going in a different direction, and looking back, I’m glad it did.

Instead of rushing into a title, I chose to start from the ground level and work my way up in the real estate field. I wanted to understand every part of the business, not just pass a test. Over the last couple of years, I’ve been working in property management and leasing, gaining real hands-on experience with showings, tenants, applications, inspections, and the day-to-day side of this industry.

During that time, life also changed in a good way. My kids are grown now and focused on their own careers, which allowed me to finally focus on mine. I had to remove distractions, make some hard decisions, and put myself first so I could move forward the right way. Once I did that, everything started falling into place.

This journey didn’t happen the way I originally planned, but I truly believe it happened the way it was meant to. Sometimes God slows you down so you can learn what you need before the next level.

This page started as a study journey, but now it’s about real life experience. From here on, I’ll be sharing my path working in property management, leasing, and real estate as I continue building my career step by step.
