Today, we celebrate the empathy, dedication, and love of mothers everywhere. A special salute goes out to the Moms across the military, from those in uniform to those who are military spouses, who balance the important demands of service with the more important responsibilities of motherhood.

We should honor ALL mothers today – since we ALL have a mother in some way – including Godmothers, foster mothers, grandmothers… you get the idea!

To all the mothers out there, hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day 2025!

You’ve been invited to a Christmas, New Year’s, or other party. It is too far to walk. What action will you take?

A. Drink non-alcoholic beverages.

B. Pick a designated driver.

C. Take a taxi or rideshare.

D. Ride public transportation.

E. Choose any of the above.

F. Earn this “F” by not planning or changing a solid plan, and then getting behind the wheel under the influence.

Have. A. Plan.

As we gather with family and friends this year, let’s take a moment to appreciate God’s blessings around us. Despite any challenges we might face, sharing time with others in gratitude and warmth for what we have enjoyed throughout the year is a reminder that life is good. As an example for us in 2024, let’s remember that first official Thanksgiving was proclaimed by President Abraham Lincoln in the midst of the American Civil War in 1863.
