This is a 110 Ultralite in a 7 PRC. I’ve loved it so far but looking to see if I prefer a 6.5 PRC more. We’ll see!

Spring is such a fun time to be out in the mountains! I wish I did more of it. Not sure if it’s just the first hunt of the year or what but spring bear is one of my favorite hunts of the year!

On most hunts now, I usually carry a handgun. I’m constantly trying new ways to carry it and this holster from has been a solid choice. It’s solid on the pack and the gun is solid in the holster.

What gun do you like to carry and how do you guys like to carry your sidearms on a hunt?

What’s your go to when purifying water?! I’ve used filters, tablets, even boiled water, and recently tried a steripen! There benefits to all, but what do you guys prefer for backpacking hunts?
