BIG NEWS on IRONMAN World Championship Qualifying! 🌎🏊‍♀️🚴‍♂️🏃

IRONMAN listened to the community feedback and is updating the 2026 World Championship qualifying system immediately.

The key change: Performance Pool slots will now be split by gender to ensure fair representation and competitive opportunity for both men and women.

This will also be applied retroactively for races already completed! Head to the official IRONMAN site to read the full details on how they are evolving the system to keep performance at the core while ensuring balance.

Calm those pre-race nerves! One of the best ways to prepare for race day is to visualize it.

Start thinking through your race a week or two beforehand. By the time race day arrives, you'll feel dialed in and prepared, making the experience so much smoother. For experienced athletes, taking the time to write out a full race plan can make all the difference.
