With my birthday coming up on Wednesday I’ve been reflecting on everything that has finally brought me to this beautiful state of clarity…..

It’s my sense that this next chapter of life and dance around the sun will be the epic adventure I have been dreaming of. And, so it is.

🦋Collective Resilience

I started working at the age of 12 — to help my then single mom - put some food on the table and eventually I saved up enough to help her buy a $900 dollar “jalopy” car as we call it back home.

There were lots of struggles back in those early days. My parents did their best with the tools they had but I realized that I would have to become self sufficient and focused if I wanted to have a chance at a better life.

My resiliency was sharpened in those moments but so were the stories of survival I developed back then as well and while I was able to achieve some high-level of 3D “success” it was mostly fueled by survival trauma energy which is a heavier lift to create from as it is fueled by fear and loss.

It wasn’t until I started working with .coach late last year that I realized how much fear fuels the glass ceiling in all aspects of life especially as an entrepreneur. The words we sometimes use — although may sound noble and well-intentioned are in fact still programmed with layers of trauma and stories we left long ago….
