Second day without Lilly feels surreal. She was a member of the OG Pack: Penny, Rosie, Lilly, Xóchitl, and Laddy. When Xóchitl died, Lilly had a really hard time accepting it. I remember she used to pace at night because she kept looking for her girl, her best friend in the entire world. I know Xóchitl was the first pup she saw when she crossed and I know Penny was like “Hey Lil’s!” Meadow probably ran to say hi and then got distracted by the squeaky balls. We all do find comfort in knowing Xóchitl and Lilly were finally reunited again. I know they are making up for all of the lost time up there. And we find comfort in knowing Lilly isn’t alone. She’s got the rest of the pups (Penny, Macey, Meadow, Jack (Britt’s cat), and family members. 🌈❤️
