Since August 2016 the FAA has slated new rules under article 107. These policies are now in effect! In the past Real Estate agents, Tower Inspectors, and Construction Surveyors were unsure just how qualified Amateur UAV/UAS Pilots were prior to service. With clearly defined rules under article 107 we can all rest at ease that professional qualified Pilots have landed in the Midwest! A FAA Article 107 certificate is required to commercially operate UAV/UAS equipment.
