The Police Officers Network had the opportunity to speak with former (retired) Chicago Police Department Chief of Detective Eugene Roy to discuss his candidacy for CPD PABF Pension Board Annuitant Trustee in an election being held January 29 - February 9, 2026.

Gene discusses his Servant Leadership philosophy, his experience as a team builder, his previous experience as a Trustee on the Pension Board, as well as problems he sees and things he would like to see changed.
