Happy Birthday Lisa Hartman Black!

Happy Heavenly 100th Birthday to the man who changed our lives! He could have asked us to only play “public domain” music on The Andy Griffith Show but instead he allowed us to showcase our own original music. That music became part of bluegrass history and our songs are still heard both on that show as well as at every single bluegrass festival in existence - for 60+ years!

We are so thankful for our dear friend Andy - he really took care of these young foolish kids from the Ozarks.

Everybody knows Pat Boone. He’s an American treasure. Today is his birthday. He’s always been very nice to me. I first met him in the 90’s on the old Nashville Network show “Music City Tonight” with Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase. Let’s all wish him a great 92nd birthday! Keep on crooning, sir!
