For the first time in over 12 years, the WyoLook Bug is once again my transportation to work! The last time I drove her to work, I was living in southern California. Ever since that day, I've wanted to get her back in the commuting duty and now she is back!

The WyoLook Bug had its first trip to the gas station in over 11 years! Filled up the tank and took a little longer trip home. Felt so good to have her back on the road! She has been missed!

My five year old grandson's smile is just the best way to share my delight in that the WyoLook Bug is running! I had hoped to get it running last week so that I could drive it to a local car show, but thanks to a failed fuel pump, I wasn't able to make it.

Thanks to a buddy in nearby Cheyenne WY, I was able to secure a fuel pump earlier this week. Later that day I installed the pump, primed the carb, and she came to life! I was able to drive her around the block a few times. There was a small hiccup with a wire that came disconnected from the coil, but that was easily fixable.

She is running quite rough, so she is in need of tuning. Right now, the carb is still tuned for about 1200 ft altitude, so she will be needed to be tuned for Laramie's 7200 ft. I also need to take a look at the brakes, as they work but the pedal has a lot of travel before they engage.

It feels so great to drive her again and look forward to sharing more photos and adventures as she is driven!
