It's important for me as an Advocate, Spokesperson and Survivor and Thriver of Domestic Violence and Sexual assault to share my journey out in the open. A big part of our journey as Survivors is our Moving forward stories for many of us it may become a Solo journey where for the first time in our lives we make decisions putting ourselves and our happiness first. Our forks in the road are ours to decide in our freedom. The Happiest Day for me was the day I found my voice my courage and my strength it was the day I said to myself You matter and you are brave enough to begin Moving forward. Let today be that day you say it is time for my healing journey to begin if others have made it out I can too the National Domestic Violence Helpline 1-800-799-7233

We had delays coming back from Kentucky we will be home soon. Monday April 1st is the Start of sexual assault awareness month and I will be announcing the April Crowns of Courage Project Recipient of Barbara's Wings..
