My mom, sisters and I are in such an incredible period of our lifespan together… we’re in our “we’re all adults and best friends and we want to soak up every drop of life together” era… and it is AWESOME!!
From Broadway shows to our Vegas girls trip to last night’s girls’ date to see together, we are truly LIVING OUR BEST LIVES. 💫
As many of you know, my mom went through breast cancer several years ago, and from that moment on we vowed never to waste a moment together.
I am so grateful for them, and for our incredible relationship. They are truly my best friends and I am obsessed with our current pursuit of grabbing life by the ⚽️🏀🏈🥎🏐 and our commitment to having the time of our lives together. 👯♀️🥰❤️
How you talk to yourself matters. 💫
Do you suffer from embarrassment-replay syndrome?
Trust me… been there!!
But here’s the thing… leaning into that not only increases your anxiety, but it doesn’t set you up for long-term success.
Self-flagellation is a learned trait. We feel we deserve to beat ourselves up when we make a mistake. 😮💨
But guess what?
We make mistakes because we’re human 🙋♀️… and the difference between a winner and an embarrassment-stewer is this: winners reframe negative thoughts and insist on learning and moving on. 🏆
Stewing in the aftermath of little mistakes only prolongs the anxiety-inducing stress from the initial event.
A person with a winning mindset is someone who takes a look at the reality of the situation, gives themselves a little grace (and maybe even a chuckle 😅), and moves the hell on. 🏃🏻♀️💨
