This location has long been considered a viable candidate for the final resting place of Noah's Ark. Thankfully, researchers are being allowed to study the area and test it to see if it is the remains of an ancient ship. Very exciting to see! If proven true, this will be a great encouragement to Christians and a help tool for apologetics in the disputes over modern scientific claims. Check it out:

Some really good scholarship and discoveries have been made over the past decades regarding the dominate language in first century Judea. As Christians, it appears to be accurate for us to say that Jesus' public speech was almost fully spoken in Greek, which means that the Gospels give us the untranslated words of Christ himself with no need to worry about a filter from Aramaic to Greek with the writers.
