Post Steak Cookoff Association and Dark Horse Brewing Co. competition update. of all things or ribs let us down. but we continue to improve on our Brisket and steak... well let's just say that went decent.

1st place Steak and a golden ticket to the World Championships in Fort Worth Texas next March.
I guess we can call ourselves WORLD CLASS now!!!

Dark Horse Brewing Co. smoke off let's have a day

Great Lakes BBQ Association . What a weekend. First smokeoff of the 2026. No calls, had a smoker quit half way through a cook and the weather wasn't the most cooperative, but we put together a good turn in. Attempted chicken thighs for the first time and got a top 20 with them. We also have started to make a little head way with our white wale, the brisket! Even went as far as to tie the great Sailor Nick’s BBQ in that category and that's saying something. Thank you to Mister Brisket, Inc. For the incredible meat and Boost Your BBQ for the good stuff to put on it. Special thanks to Nanette Harris and my beautiful wife Natalie Harris for letting the boys go play for the weekend.
