Started the day in the charming village of Saumur, marveling at its stunning castle, a historic home to the French cavalry. 🏰 After a delicious lunch at La Bistro de la Place, we dove into adventure in the nearby mushroom caves, learning all about traditional mushroom cultivation. 🍄

We wrapped up the day with a delightful stroll through the picturesque vineyards and ended at the beautiful Château de Parney winery. 🍇✨

There's no better way to experience this magical region than through its castles, mushrooms, trekking, and, of course, wine! 🍷❤️

Today was a magical journey through history and wine! 🍷

We began at the stunning Château d'Amboise, the 14th-century castle where the incredible Leonardo da Vinci is buried in the chapel. 💫 Exploring this historic site and marveling at the art and architecture was a breathtaking experience!

Next, we wandered down the rue to discover more about Da Vinci's life and contributions at his home. The beautiful grounds surrounding his residence were truly captivating!

Our day wrapped up with a behind-the-scenes tour at Domaine des Geslets, right after the harvest! 🌿🍇 Sampling exquisite white and red wines was the perfect end to an unforgettable day. Cheers to art, history, and fine wine! 🥂✨

Strolling through the stunning countryside surrounding Château de la Bourdaisière, we explored historic bridges restored from WWII and even walked a portion of the French El Camino. 🏰🚶‍♀️🥖 The path offered breathtaking views and a deeper connection to this beautiful region.

Our afternoon was filled with wine wisdom at Vouvray Winery, where we delved into the fascinating world of Chenin Blanc! 🍾🍇 From exploring the wine caves to learning about the intricate winemaking process, we gained a deeper appreciation for the marvelous white and sparkling wines this area has to offer.
