Welcome Lucy and Richard Parker to the Bullies 2 The Rescue family. They are available for adoption now!

Lucy is 1.5 years old, and Richard Parker is just shy of 5. Yes, both are girls, and yes, they are a bonded pair. These two have shared their lives together, and we will be looking for a family willing to open their heart and home to both of them.

They are good with dogs, love people of all ages, are house and crate trained, well mannered, walk well on leash, and ride well in the car. They have not been tested with cats.

See more about Lucy and Richard Parker on our website 👉 bullies2therescue.com

Interested in adopting from B2TR? Please start by applying to become an Approved Adopter on our website. Our approval process can take time, so we encourage you to apply early.

Already approved? Text Courtney on the dedicated number for approved adopters and let her know you are interested in this beautiful bonded pair!

📍Foster location: North Carolina. We adopt out of state, but adopters must travel for pickup. We do not ship or transport our dogs.

Please note: We do not adopt to families with children under the age of six.

We are heartbroken.

This morning, Kobe collapsed in his foster home and was rushed to the emergency veterinary hospital. Despite every effort to save him, he could not be resuscitated. He was gone before anyone had a chance to say goodbye.

We are still trying to process this loss. Kobe had only just begun his journey with us, and we never imagined it would end so suddenly.

Our hearts are with his devoted foster family, who loved him deeply, and with our founder, Courtney, who worked so hard to help him find safety and care.

We are so sorry, Kobe.

You were loved.
You mattered.
You were wanted.

And you will be deeply missed. 💔

An update from Josephina! 🐾

Our sweet girl is currently tackling a pesky upper respiratory infection, but she isn't letting it slow her down one bit! Once she's feeling 100%, she'll get her spay scheduled.

Her foster parents describe her as calm, curious, and incredibly friendly to everyone she meets. While she loves a good, thorough sniff around the yard, her absolute favorite place to be is right by her humans' side. Even with a little cold, her playful, sweet personality shines right through! She's also doing great and working hard on her house-training.

🙏To help us get Miss Josephina feeling her absolute best, please consider making a donation toward her medical care and vet expenses. Every little bit helps her on her road to recovery: Use the link below or go to https://givebutter.com/Wiggle400 ❤️
(Pro tip: IG users can take a screenshot and click on the image)What we know about Josephina so far:

* ✨ Age: 3 years old
* ✨ Weight: 32 lbs
* ✨ Location: North Carolina (Out-of-state adopters are welcome, but you must travel to pick her up!)
* ✨ Kids & Pets: TBD, though she seems indifferent to other dogs and cats so far.
* ✨ Personality: Incredibly friendly, loving, and laid-back.

We'll continue to share updates on Josephina, especially when she's officially available for adoption.

🐾 Update on Dutch! 🐶

Dutch is doing really well! Initially, there were concerns about megaesophagus due to his previous owner’s comments, but thankfully, he’s showing no signs. With a slow feeder, he’s only vomited once since arriving—great news for his recovery!

Dutch is hand shy, especially around men, and has been a bit snippy with kids. The team is working on identifying triggers and addressing his behavior, but he’s an absolute sweetheart! He loves cuddles and enjoys curling up for belly rubs. 💖

Dutch hasn’t fully met the other dogs yet, but adjacent room introductions and distant walks are underway. He’s getting used to their presence, and yard interaction is planned for when he’s healed from his neuter.

If you’d like to donate towards his care we’d be grateful
