If you are having issues with your panel settings / layout in Linux Mint this may help you revert back to default settings ---->
From a terminal execute
"gsettings reset-recursively org.cinnamon".

Replace "org.cinnamon" with the desktop you are using (Cinnamon, mate, Xfce, Budgie etc...). To find out what desktop you are using you can run the System Info tool from the main menu's search option.

Having an issue playing embedded videos with the Chrome Browser? Try the following actions -

1 - Disable "Use hardware acceleration when available" in Chrome Settings under Advanced / System

2 - Choose Clear Browsing data under Settings / Advanced / Privacy & Security

3 - Confirm Flash is enabled under Settings / Advanced / Privacy & Security / Content Settings / Flash. Also confirm the site you are attempting to view the video from is not in the blocked list.
