Millbridge Saturday 7/16 recap

First off - Thank you to the Millbridge staff for working hard to get the track surface race ready, despite Mother Nature trying to cancel 🌧!

She qualified 12 out of 25
She started p1 in our heat, finished p1.
Started 3rd in the Main, fell to fourth for a good portion of the race. Lap 14 she would find herself getting caught in a wreck, putting her back to p14, where she would gain one spot and finish p13.

Overall we had a goodnight. We kept improving each time she took the track. Proud of how determined she is, each time she is on the track. Even more proud of how she handles adversity. It’s not what happens that makes the final destination, it’s how you react and recover.

Our driver is taking a week off to go enjoy some fun in the sun 🏝 !

We will be back in action for Kids Night at Millbridge on 7/26!!! 🤍

Millbridge 7/12 recap:

Man what a night. Our goal each night is to learn, improve, & have fun.

Adalynn has consistently been accomplishing just that.

We qualified 10 of 32.
Won our heat.
Started p2 in the A main- which would be full of cautions! She lead 6 laps, and then fell to second- where she would then spin herself out & cause a caution. Ultimately that put her in the back of the field, but she wouldn’t give up are be defeated there. She gave it her all and would race back through the field, coming home with a p10 & running her fastest BBS time.

When she came off the track, she was all smiles. She knew where she messed up and is taking that as a learning opportunity for next time.

On the way home we were discussing the night and She said- “Mom, Chad never gave up & I wasn’t giving up tonight either. You NEVER give up!” 🤍
(Glad it was dark in the car, my eyes were pretty watery! We miss you #73)

Race day recap: Millbridge 7/2/22 BBS

Qualified 16 of 24
Started 6th in her heat and finished 2nd.
Started 4th in the A main, ran 3rd for the majority of the race, but would finish 4th.

Each week she tries her best and makes us proud. She is improving each time she hits the track. Proud of her for her top 5 finish. Congratulations to #6 on his win!!

I love how the kids support each other after the race, no matter where they finish 🤍- some adults should take notes 🙃!! 🏁
