Tonight I got to work with one of my own kiddos that I coach one on one and the progress that she made in just one lesson is amazing.
We worked on getting a bigger load and getting into a STRONG separation position to prepare for contact. Then we worked on using her BODY to turn to contact instead of throwing the hands to contact. She finished her swing by pushing through to extension.
Proud of this kid!

The first clip is a video of Ava swinging to contact when she first came to me for lessons.
The second clip is Ava swinging to contact today. Couple things to notice:
•GREAT separation
•hands stay close
•uses hips to turn, hands follow
•keeps a strong box at contact
Needless to say, I am so proud of the work this kid has put in and her willingness to always learn more.
