The Chapter is holding its last social for 2023 and I want you to be there!
We have made so many connections through events like these this year with members, those interested in becoming coaches and others who support the amazing impact that coaching has on our community.
It's been a delight for the Board and event attendees to reconnect and rediscover benefits of being part of a Chapter: Joy and Friendship!
So join us for a night of good food and great people! See you there!
Don't forget to register by Nov 20:

There is something about being in a new place that changes how you interact even when you are there to discuss something familiar.
My 3 days at the Annual ICF Southeast Region Conference and Retreat with other Chapter leaders was grounding and inspiring.
My biggest takeaways:
1. Listen.
I learned, shared and gained so much just by being in the room with others facing the same challenges with curiosity on how to get better.
2. Relax.
No one would ever accuse me of not getting sh*t done whatever the situation but I don't have to save the world in one day. And definitely not alone.
I won't lie and say that just my LISTS (yes, multiple) of ideas from this adventure are short but the fun will be in seeing how they play out with my board member peers and our valued chapter members.
And when in doubt: take a moment to check out the sky and see what a big picture really can be.

I disagree with the title.
If any person was able to have half of this optimal at one time it's an AMAZING day.
The truth is that these items DO require talent.
Talent to be self-aware; flexible to accept change or growth; in a mindset to see opportunities over problems; to be in good physical and mental health; and, even possibly, controlling what is happening around you as an employee or employer.
Transportation issues, loss of childcare, loss of a loved one, health issues, personal life friction, poor project management and a non-inclusive team culture are factors that could make it impossible for a person to 'Show Up' meeting any or all these expectations.
What does requires Zero Talent?
Being willing to accept imperfection when you are trying your best that day.
Being empathic to those who are falling short that day.
Being a good human.
