I had a blast getting to know Alex Smith and learn more about his company, SS Mobile Car Detailing Commercial and Residential Pressure Washing LLC this week! ๐โจ
Alex and Timmy bring 30+ years of experience to the table and it shows- full car detailing, plus commercial and residential pressure washing. Whether it's your personal vehicle, your business fleet, or the outside of your building, they've got it covered.
I'm already excited to get my own car detailed with them soon and I can't recommend them enough if you need detailing or pressure washing done right.
Reach out to them and get in their books!
Let's talk about CTAs for a second, because I see this mistake on so many websites.
A CTA, or call to action, is just the button that tells someone what to do next. The question every good one has to answer is: click here to do... what, exactly?
A bad CTA is something like "Contact Us." It's on almost every site out there, and it doesn't really tell you anything. Contact you about what? What happens after I click it?
A good CTA is a little friendlier, like "Work With Us." Warmer, but still kind of vague.
A great CTA spells it out completely. Something like "Schedule Your Free Estimate" tells people exactly what's about to happen and how to take the next step. That's the button people actually click.
Save this for later and follow me for more website tips like this one!
Can we talk about my favorite earrings for a second?
Mickโs Media Jewelry based here in West Virginia, made these and they're genuinely one of a kind, I get complimented on them almost every time I wear them. I've bought several pairs just to gift to friends, because I love handing someone an actual piece of art to wear instead of just an accessory.
Visit www.micksmediajewelry.com and go snag yourself a beautiful piece and support a WV business.
That's kind of the whole reason I do what I do too. Small business owners here in WV deserve to be seen for the good work they're already doing.
Comment ๐ if you've got a favorite WV small business nobody talks about enough, tag their page if you can so we can show them some support!

Another local business highlight for the week! I got to meet Jodi Robbins , a realtor with Old Colony who just launched her own company, Robbins Real Estate Investments!
Learning more about someone taking that leap to build something of their own never gets old, especially when they clearly know what they're doing.
If you're buying, selling, or looking to invest in real estate in the area, reach out to Jodi!

It really is a small world! I ran into Joel Baker of Alpha Title & Escrow today and have to brag on him for a second.
Four years in and this guy is still as driven as ever. He's extremely passionate about doing everything right and maintaining high standards that his team constantly exceeds.
His offices are currently located in Spencer and Ripley (my hometown!), so I love getting the chance to support him.
I'm hoping to see an office in Kanawha County soon, so Charleston folks, let's try to bring him a little closer to us!
If you're a realtor or lender, or you just know someone buying or selling in the area, give him a call!!
I've looked at a lot of WV business websites. And I keep seeing the same thing:
Their websites are written for people who already know their business.
'Welcome to Smith's Plumbing.' 'Family owned since 1987.' 'We take pride in our work.'
That's great, but the person landing on your site at 10pm on a Tuesday? They've never heard of you. They Googled something, you showed up, and now they're trying to figure out in about three seconds whether you're the right person to call.
Your website's job is to talk to strangers. Not your regulars.
If your website assumes people already know you, like you, and trust you the it's time to rewrite it.

I used to get called at 2am for system-down emergencies.
Before SpindleStack, I was an on-call engineer, the one who got the call when everything broke and there was no time to figure it out slowly. You triage it, you fix it, you don't panic.
So if your website's throwing an SSL certificate error, or something's just broken and you can't figure out why- that's exactly what I'm here for.
If that's the kind of help you've been missing, comment WV and let's talk
