Cletus

Crap. While I feel like I saw a stellar show at Farm with Cro Mags and Helmet, I guess I missed my chance to see the Northern Lights in South Carolina tonight. Man, my first time was in the early Cletus days and we were somewhere in Northern California I think, driving north at night and we had no idea what we were witnessing. We pulled over to take it in, didn't really even speak to each other in those moments. What were each of us thinking? "Maybe "War of The Worlds' is real and it's happening now?"
"Maybe there is some Mount Saint Helens s**t happening up the road".
"It's the Apocalypse".
We didn't really know what we saw, and oddly enough, maybe because it was a night drive and we were all exhausted, we didn't even really talk to each other after to try to explain what we had just seen. I suppose the next day a friendly promoter probably schooled us, but we were previously left to our own imaginations as to the miracle of nature we'd witnessed and true to human nature all of us thought it was something negative, tragic, and destructive.
Bummed I missed the Aurora Borealis tonight at home. So many spend thousands to see them in Alaska, Norway, and Iceland. But man, y'all Helmet has a collection of tight grooves, it was pretty great.
